Food was excellent. Flavorful! I had chicken Service was quick Great lunch spot. Clean but not much ambiance Great prices and generous portions

Wow! The food here is so so so good. I was very impressed with my experience. Emma was the most helpful worker and made my first time so great. We had the catering service and it was so slick! I can't wait to use them again.

I visited with my daughter after she raved about it and I'm so glad she talked me into it. The service was the best I've experienced anywhere in the last 5 years - and it wasn't just me, the staff were constantly circulating, checking on and assisting all their guests. The facility was clean even though they were busy with a constant line that they served quickly and efficiently. Lastly, the food did not disappoint - it was flavorful and plentiful. The Kalua pork was the best I've tasted since I visited Hawaii 10 years ago - it came out piping hot and had all the amazing flavor you would expect. Lastly, very reasonably priced - I can't wait to visit again and introduce my grandchildren to this fantastic restaurant!

THIS PLACE IS SPECTACULAR! Easily the best Hawaii spot in the area and reasonably priced as well.

We have been wanting to go to Pounders for awhile now and finally got to go today. So glad we stopped in. Cute and clean inside. You order at the counter and take a seat. All the staff were extremely friendly and there when you need them. My husband got the large plate with 3 meats- teriyaki steak, teriyaki chicken and garlic chicken. I had the regular with steak and chicken and the kids had smalls one with steak and one with chicken. All the food was prepared perfectly. Every meat had a great crust and flavor. The rice was perfect and the sauce they use is delicious. My family also enjoyed the macaroni salad. We ended our meal with a chocolate chip cookie and it was also yummy! We will for sure be back.

What a delicious Hawaiian food! If you havent eaten here yet you must try this new place off davis hwy beside Moe's. They have limited menu but all taste amazing! The marination and sweetness of pineapple brings out flavor of each dishes. Its very tender, juicy, and very flavorful! Their serving matched their pricing from $10 to $15 $10 comes with 1scoop of rice, 1meat, 1sides $12 2 scoops of rice plus 2 meats $15 3 scoops or rice plus 3 meats $3+ Steaks, $0.50 mixed veggies extra Overall, its very delicious and savory. Very satisfied!

Stopped in last week to pick up dinner for my husband and I. I ordered the pounder meal with teriyaki chicken and steak, my husband went with the two meat plate with the pork. We also grabbed a slice of the guava cake which was very good and moist. Their online ordering system was messed up and charged me for an order that didn't even go through to the restaurant.

This became a family favorite after our first visit, and everyone we have recommended it too has enjoyed this place. The decor is straightforward, aligning with an island theme while being somewhat classy inside. Tables are available outside with the inside sometimes being too busy. The menu is straightforward: three meal sizes, four meat choices, and four side choices. Pricing is surprisingly reasonable, both the meals and beverages. For me, the teriyaki chicken is the best, although there is a beef and pork option. The rice is okay, but I wouldn't say it is my favorite part of the meal. And even the side options are a little meh, but the meat is the highlight anyway. Very tasty and fresh off the grill. Workers have also been helpful and friendly, and when combines with the other positives, makes this a favorite place to go.

We're Kama'aina from Hawaii and now residing in Pensacola. When we arrived here we looked for Hawaiian plate lunch and found none. Until we heard about Pounders in Crestview and Niceville. Fast forward a year later and reached out to the owner. He informed me he was looking to expand to Pensacola and he secured a location. That news was like heaven sent to us. On our first trip to the restaurant was on a weekday. We were there promptly at 11AM and there was already a huge line of customers. They all looked hungry. So the food. We were absolutely blown away. Garlic and Teri chicken was juicy and so tender. Kalua pig was moist and perfectly pulled. Mac salad and rice was the best accompaniment to the meal. The employees were on-point taking our orders. After we sat down to eat the staff was making sure everything was good. Mahalo, Kakela for bringing a taste of Hawaii to the Emerald Coast.

Lunch with the husband this afternoon. It was super crowded during lunch hour, but they got the line through quickly and efficiently. We love how flavorful and filling the portions are. Husband and I shared the Pounder with Garlic Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, and Pulled Pork as the meats with brown rice and macaroni salad as sides. Great prices for the sizes.
